Marseille have rejected the chance to sign Wilfried Bony.

The Swansea star believes that he should be playing in a top division somewhere in Europe.

However, Le 10 Sport claims the French giants turned down the chance to sign Bony.

They felt the 30-year-old has knee problems and would command a salary beyond their capability.

Bony was on loan at Al-Arabi in Qatar last season and is now out of contract with the Swans.

It is unclear where he will move, as he is not attracting significant interest from any European club.
