Newcastle United boss Rafa Benitez is being linked with Olympique Marseille.

La Provence says Rudi Garcia will leave Marseille at the end of the season - and Benitez is a target.

Benitez comes off contract next month and is on the agenda of the OM board.

The Spaniard's experience and career success is attractive to OM and he would also find countryman Andoni Zubizarreta, who is the club's sports director.

Benitez remains in talks with Newcastle about a new deal, though is demanding greater transfer support before committing.
