Marseille president Pablo Longoria is involved in their pursuit of William Saliba from Arsenal.

The young French defender spent last term on loan with the French giants.

However, Arsenal have taken him back this term, and manager Mikel Arteta wants to give him first team chances.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that Longoria has spoken with Saliba's agent in London about a possible deal.

There is no suggestion that Saliba is ready to give up on his Arsenal dream.

He has been heavily involved for the Gunners during their pre-season games so far.
