Olympique Marseille have made a bid to Watford for Pape Gueye.

The Le Havre midfielder is tied to Watford via a pre-contract, but doesn't wish to move to England when his deal expires next week.

Instead, Ligue 1 clubs have been encouraged to bid for Gueye in order to convince Watford to release him.

OM are keen and local reporter Manu Lonjon has stated on his Twitch stream that a first offer has been tabled to the Hornets for Gueye.

It's claimed Watford would be willing to sell their Bosman prospect for €2-3m.
