Olympique Marseille are interested in Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira.

After a successful loan with Fiorentina last season, Torreira saw a permanent move fall through as the Viola attempted to talk down Arsenal's valuation.

Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports Torreira remains determined to leave Arsenal and Marseille have emerged as an option.

He stated: "Olympique Marseille have explored potential loan deal for Bryan Gil, he's in the list - but it's still not close as depends on conditions of the deal with Spurs.

"Talks for Lucas Torreira as of today - Uruguayan midfielder is expected to leave Arsenal this summer."
