Olympique Marseille are being encouraged to move for Barcelona defender Jean-Clair Todibo.
Eighteen months after leaving Toulouse for Barca, Todibo has been put up for sale at a price of €25m.
Everton have been rated as favourites for the French youngster, but Marseille are also being linked with him this week.
Local reporter Jean-Baptiste Jammes wrote for La Phoceen: "He is clearly one of the greatest talents in this position. He made his pro debut in 2018 at the age of 18 and quickly imposed his qualities, whether at the back or at number 6, the position where he was trained.
"But, when he played at the back, he was sometimes criticised for being too laid back, which led him to take risks by wanting to dribble systematically. He is very comfortable technically and in the air with a large physique (1.9m).
"But, as often today, he refused a very nice offer of a first professional contract because he was requested by the biggest European clubs. He therefore signed in January with Barça for €1m, so that TFC are still hurting.
"This is a very big hope, and OM would make a nice move if they managed to convince him."
