Marseille coach Andre Villas-Boas felt his players could've done better in defeat to Manchester City.

OM lost their final Champions League group game 3-0 last night.

AVB said: "The first and third goals represent everything that we missed in this Champions League.

"We still had a lot of bad luck with Valère (Germain) who defended a lot this evening (Wednesday) and who comes to give a hand to Yuto (Nagatomo). Unfortunately, he deflects the ball which reaches (Ferran) Torres for the opener.

"There were also a lot of mistakes. We took a lot of lessons over these six matches, that's not normal. This experience should serve us."
