Marseille coach Villas-Boas rejects Newcastle: I'll NEVER go back

Olympique Marseille coach Andres Villas-Boas has shut down talk of a move to Newcastle United.

The former Tottenham and Chelsea manager has been mentioned as a candidate for the Toon job once their takeover is completed.

But AVB told RMC: "When my agent calls me with things I have already known, that is, the Premier League, I have no interest. Newcastle? I don't want to go back to the Premier League. I've already done it. I want to do something else.

"It was not the championship that was the happiest for me. I spent a wonderful year at Tottenham, where we finished with the points record. But my half-season at Chelsea and the one that followed at Tottenham have not been successful. So I want to keep doing other things because I still have plans for my career."
