Olympique Marseille coach Rudi Garcia is backing PSG's move for Gigi Buffon.

The former Juventus captain has received a two-year contract offer from PSG worth €14-16m.

Garcia supports the 40 year-old keeper's addition to Ligue 1, stating: "It's not easy to lose people like those who formed the base of Juventus, starting with Buffon.

"Moreover, in this regard, he will see that he will feel good at PSG, he is a great recruit.

"Gigi, in addition to being a great goalkeeper, is also a great man."
