Jack Wilshere has made his West Ham debut in their 2-2 draw with friendly opponents Preston.
Marko Arnautovic struck twice - his second you can see above, courtesy of West Ham - before the interval with goals which deserved a bigger stage than a pre-season friendly against Preston.
But the 1,000 travelling Hammers fans lapped it up as first after just seven minutes the 29-year-old striker took advantage of quick thinking by skipper Mark Noble to control a free-kick and bury his fierce shot past stunned Preston keeper Chris Maxwell.
Preston hit back with a header from Tom Clarke before Arnautovic surpassed his earlier endeavours with a another unerring finish, this time latching on to a pass from £20m newcomer Andriy Yarmolenko, turning sharply and brilliantly finding the corner of the net.
He fancied his chances of a hat-trick when Ryan Fredericks was pulled down in the box by Josh Earl. Arnautovic immediately picked up the ball but had to hand it to Noble whose spot-kick was saved by Maxwell.
