Mark Hudson is delighted to have been named U23 coach of Huddersfield Town.

Hudson was officially handed the role on 3 January 2018; coinciding with the announcement of Leigh Bromby as the Club's new Academy Manager.

He told HTTV: “Firstly, the opportunity to learn from every different department has probably accelerated me to getting to this point. If it was just learning one thing without seeing how everything works internally; I don't think you could be ready to take a job like this.

“I'd be surprised if any player comes out of playing and thinks they know what happens behind the scenes; because it doesn't happen. You don't see the work that goes on, you don't see how the scouting department works or how hard Christoph and the analysts work behind the scenes."
