Mariners agree short term sponsorship deal

Search Technologies has agreed a short-term sponsorship deal with A-League outfit Central Coast Mariners, reports SportsPro. The Washington-based company, which provides search engine implementation services to organisations such as IBM, Nintendo and the US Army, is supporting the Australian team in the last three games of the 2012 AFC Champions League group stages.

The Search Technologies logo was worn on the front of the Central Coast Mariners shirt in a game against South Korea's Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma on 18th April, and will be again in fixtures with Chinese club Tianjin Teda and Nagoya Grampus of Japan's J-League.

Kamran Khan, the founder, president and chief executive of Search Technologies, said: "Search Technologies, the leading global IT services company dedicated to search engines, is expanding into Australia and Asia.

"With our recent customer engagements in Australia, and this sponsorship of the Central Coast Mariners, we will effectively gain additional market exposure and increased presence in the region.

"Football sponsorship is a proven way for software and IT service companies to gain market exposure and reach business decision makers."

The Mariners will play Tianjin Teda at Central Coast Stadium on Tuesday 1st May.
