Mariappa reveals Palace inquest after Hull defeat

Crystal Palace defender Adrian Mariappa admits they've held an inquest since defeat to Hull City.

The 28-year-old admitted their usual game plan did not click as they paid a heavy price.

"Things just didn't go our way, it happens," he told the Croydon Advertiser.

"We had a lot of decisions which went against us and we're disappointed to lose the game.

"It's hard to put a finger on what went wrong. We'll look back at the video and see where we can improve.

"We'll look to rectify it but everyone needs to remember the lads have done terrifically in the last few games, and our wingers have been ripping full-backs apart.

"In the second half we just didn't quite click this time."
