Adrian Mariappa is thinking big for Watford this season.
The central defender wants the Hornets to continue competing in the top half of the Premier League table.
Watford are seventh in the league, but they only have a slender lead of three points that splits them from teams eighth to 12th. Mariappa believes they can even qualify for Europe this term.
After their 0-0 draw with Burnley, Mariappa said: "I would obviously love to play in Europe and everyone here would, but you can't get too ahead of yourselves and we'll take each game as it comes and really put in some good performances from now and get some points on the board.
"It's looking good at the moment, but it's about taking it game by game, trying to get as many points as we can. Every game is so tough in the Premier League nowadays and you can't look too far ahead. We just need to carry it on.
"Our squad depth is really good this season and you can see the quality of the players who have been playing in the cup games, so we fully want to progress in all the cup competitions, especially the FA Cup and I think we've got a real chance of achieving something in it."
