Enzo Maresca is returning to the Premier League - at West Ham.

West Ham named Manuel Pellegrini as new manager yesterday.

And joining him on his coaching staff will be ex-Juventus and West Brom midfielder Maresca, who played under Pellegrini at Malaga. Maresca has quit his ­position at Sevilla.

Pellegrini said: “I'm very happy because I return to a league that is the best league in the world.

“I come here to West Ham because every time I spoke with the owner Mr Sullivan, I have always had the ­feeling that he wants me."
