Marcos Asensio has intimated he expects to stay with Real Madrid.

Despite a disappointing season, the winger has stated he is looking forward to preseason under coach Zinedine Zidane.

Asensio said, "It ended a difficult season and full of difficulties, far from the level that this support deserves.

"But we will get up, improve, and give everything so that next season the Madridistas will once again enjoy the team.
