Marcos Andre was delighted with his goal in Valencia in their draw with Athletic Bilbao.

It marked Andre's first goal for Los Che.

He later said: "We had a very good game. In the end, we came away with the win, but Athletic always make it difficult for every team. In the end, if we don't win then at least we have to not lose. I think that, after two consecutive defeats, picking up points is important for our confidence. We wanted the three points, but it wasn't to be. We got a point, and we have to keep going.

"I wanted that feeling of scoring my first goal. I scored, and now we have to rest up and I hope that in the coming games I get many more goals.

"I dedicated it to my family and friends. They are always alongside me. Also, everybody who has supported me since I arrived here. I'm very happy for them as well."
