Everton have decided against pursuing Inter Milan star Joao Mario.
The Premier League side were linked with the Portuguese midfielder, who is up for sale this summer.
Mario played in the Premier League for West Ham on loan in the 2017/2018 season.
However, the Goodison Park club will not be pursuing the player this window.
"He was my player, I was the one who put him in the main team of Sporting," explained manager Marco Silva to Portuguese outlet O Jogo.
"He had a very good season, but at the moment he is not on the table.
"Joao is a player of Inter and there is nothing more than that."
