Marco Asensio insists he's happy at Real Madrid.

After starring in Spain's 6-0 rout of Croatia last night, Asensio was asked about his situation at Real.

"I've never had the intention to go anywhere," he replied.

"Yes this is my third season, in this one I think I will have continuity and more prominence.

"And you can see this thanks to the performances I'm producing."
