Marcelo Saracchi is delighted with his move to Levante.

The Argentine defender joined Levante this week as a free agent after leaving Galatasaray last year.

Saracchi said: "I am very excited to play, to perform and show Felipe that he trusted me because they brought me and that it was worth it. I speak little and I like to find out more and demonstrate. The sooner I can be on the field, the better. In the last games the team is showing rebellion.

"They caught me late in the market. I knew that Felipe was coming here and I knew there was a possibility. There were other options but I chose to come to Spain and play in the LaLiga and try to put as much fight into it as possible and get out of this situation and face the challenges we have next season.

"It's my first day. You don't see a tense atmosphere. In recent games the team has been very good and I'm very grateful for the reception from the whole club."
