Former Barcelona midfielder Marc Crosas has urged his old club to move for Club America star Guido Rodriguez.
The Argentina international midfielder could be on the move from Mexico this month - and to Spain, where Real Betis are keen.
However Crosas, who played six years in Mexico, says Rodriguez should set his sights higher.
He declared on social media: "Guido is not for America anymore, nor for Betis. He's for Barça. He's an animal!
"He is the No5 of the Argentine national team, he is 25 years old, (Sergi) Busquets has no natural replacement ... The price that would be paid for such a player in Europe today would be for example like Rodri's (of Manchester City)."
