Former AC Milan striker Filippo Maniero is baffled by Christian Eriksen's struggles at Inter Milan.

Maniero admits he was a fan of the Dane at Tottenham and is surprised he hasn't found his feet in Italy.

He told TMW: "Honestly, I liked the player we admired at Tottenham to death.

"He made you have fun, you could see the extraordinary quality. In Milan it is difficult to understand, we have not seen him at that level.

"It is not clear if it is due to some problem. I hope for the Inter fans that he returns to great levels, because he can make a difference."
