Saint Etienne defender Eliaquim Mangala says William Saliba is best suited playing for Olympique Marseille.

Saliba is on-loan at OM from Arsenal and expectd back in London this summer.

Former Manchester City defender Mangala told Le Progres: "He plays in an oiled team, collectively strong and with game principles. As a result, certain individualities stand out.

"The Premier League is really special. There is more commitment. You play Brighton or Burnley, it's war! The most important thing for him is to be in an environment that allows him to grow and, above all, to string together matches.

"This is where you learn the most when you're young. The proof: playing in Marseille led him to the France team."
