Liverpool have received a boost with the news that Sadio Mane is ready for the Champions League clash against Red Star Belgrade.

Mane had to go through surgery on his thumb due to an injury he sustained with Senegal.

He did not participate in the 1-0 win over Huddersfield on Saturday.

But the 26-year-old has come through training and will be available for selection.

He should be back in the starting lineup, per the Evening Standard. He will lead the line along with Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino.
