Mane: Liverpool adjustment has been easy next to Sturridge, Firmino, Coutinho

Liverpool winger Sadio Mane believes that his transition to Anfield this summer has been easy due to his teammates.

Mane joined Liverpool from Southampton for a fee of around £34million this summer and the Senegalese international has been a star for the Reds so far this season.

Mane has taken no time whatsoever in adapting to life at Liverpool and the attacker has now gone on to state that the presence of quality teammates such as Daniel Sturridge, Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho has made his transition to Anfield a lot easier.

He said: "I will be happy if they (defenders) are afraid of me because it will make it easier for me.

"When you are new it can sometimes be difficult to adapt into the team. But it is easy with great players like Daniel [Sturridge], Philippe [Coutinho] and Roberto [Firmino] as well."
