Hellas Verona coach Andrea Mandorlini was relieved to overcome Atalanta 2-1 yesterday.
Verona won out thanks to Luca Toni's late first-half equaliser from the penalty spot, before an Eros Pisano own-goal sealed the points in the second half.
"I knew that we would have a hard time because there are some new lads in the team," Mandorlini has told Sky Sport Italia after the win.
"We played a good game, we created chances. We have also suffered and won - these are three important points."
