Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini insists he gets along with his players after last week's on-off resignation claims.
"The confidence in me was reaffirmed. The meeting with Moratti was only about 10 minutes, as there wasn't much to clarify. We just confirmed our reciprocal respect and faith.
"At times one needs more confirmation, especially when going through a difficult period. I did not suffer trauma from this and neither did the team."
Asked about his relationship with Luis Figo, Mancini insisted: "I was a player for 20 years, so I know someone can not like a Coach because he doesn't let him play or always substitutes him, but I have never seen anyone pull back at the moment when fighting spirit is needed, especially out of respect for their teammates and the club. In any case, I am not vindictive and only look to the good of the collective. I won't ask for a fine.
"I reacted perfectly well and nothing has changed for me. This is not a temporary truce until the end of the season until we decide to change. That is not the case."
