Manchester United striker Fraizer Campbell may snub a move to Hull City in order to join Newcastle United.
The Daily Star Sunday says Campbell has told friends he fancies a move to relegated Newcastle.
The Manchester United starlet is wanted by Hull, who are prepared to pay £6million - but he has delayed a decision on his future until after the European Under-21 Championships in Sweden, where he scored in England's 2-0 win over Spain.
A source close to Campbell said: "Fraizer has heard that Newcastle are sniffing around and he is intrigued to see how things pan out up there. He is well aware there is some uncertainty at Newcastle but he is waiting as this is a crucial move in his career."
