Man Utd youngster Woolston relishing learning from De Gea & Henderson

Manchester United youngster Paul Woolston is relishing working with the club's strong goalkeeping department.

Dean Henderson's return to the club this past summer has brought in genuine competition for David De Gea, who is thriving under the pressure.

And Woolston has revealed he is gaining valuable knowledge from his experienced teammates.

"Dean has done brilliant. He's been there and done it, had a lot of success everywhere he's been," Woolston told the Manchester Evening News.

"It's good to see two very good keepers pushing each other every day, to make them better. Dean's story is something you look at as a keeper. He's rose up every challenge he comes across, he succeeds."

He added: "It's the biggest club in the world Manchester United, so they're always going to attract the best players. But it only pushes yourself to improve, to learn from David: 'he does this, how can I take that into my game?'.

"You only have to look at the quality when I first came here. Everyone at the club is very welcoming but it's a fight, and I love a fight.

"All the time, they're always there if you've got any questions. They're just normal people at the end of the day and they soon make you feel very welcome. You just look at the things he [De Gea] does and the career he's had, and Dean's only just getting started. It can only improve me as a person and a keeper."
