Manchester United youngster Reece James is determined to kick on after his loan spell with Carlisle United.
The versatile full-back, who impressed in a midfield role during the Reserves' 4-0 defeat of Bolton Wanderers in the Manchester Senior Cup, feels he learned a lot in a short space of time with the Cumbrians.
"I went there and initially it was supposed to be until 1 January but injuries held me back from that," he explained to MUTV. "But I gained a lot of experience from it, especially playing against men. Even though it was only two games, it's still first-team experience and it was very good being in and around that environment.
"It was good to see what other facilities are like - especially compared to United.
"Carlisle don't have their own training ground or gym so you've got to adapt. It's a very big learning curve."
