Paddy McNair has returned to the UK after spending three nights in hostile in Finland.
The Manchester United defender sustained an abdominal injury while on international duty for Northern Ireland who wrapped up their Euro2016 qualifying campaign with a 1-1 draw against Finland in Helsinki on Sunday night.
McNair suffered bruised ribs to go along with the abdominal problem and there were concerns he had also damaged his liver, which prompted a three-night stay in a Helsinki hospital.
However, the news is good for the 20-year-old who was given permission to fly home to Manchester but he is still expected to be out of action for around two weeks.
