Man Utd winger Elanga backing young teammates to win FAYC final

Manchester United winger Anthony Elanga says he's available for advice as their youngsters prepare for the FA Youth Cup final.

Travis Binnion's 2021/22 side have reached the final, the first time the club has made it this far since 2011, and will meet Warren Joyce's Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford next Wednesday.

"I remember playing in the semi-finals against Chelsea so I wish them all the best for the final," Elanga told United Review. "Hopefully, they do well and win it.

"The crowd will get behind them and I just know the lads will feel it and use it to their advantage.

"You know what you can expect from a Joycey team. They will be physical and will be letting you know they are in there early, but I feel confidence in the young lads and just wish them all the best. Hopefully, they can bring the FA Youth Cup back to United.

"I always like to speak and give advice to anyone, even though I'm still young myself," he explained, when asked if he will be passing on any tips to the Reds' trophy hopefuls.

"Even though I'm 20 now, I'm willing to ask for advice and I'm willing to give advice as well. That's the sort of person I am."
