Manchester United winger Tom Cleverley is determined to make the most of his move to Wigan Athletic.
The loan signing is hoping to see action against Sunderland today.
"I'm looking to hit the ground running," he told the Wigan Evening Post. "I don't want four or five average games and for people to be saying 'let him settle in'.
"I want to feature in every game, starting tomorrow, and get off to a flying start. As soon as the gaffer (Sir Alex Ferguson) mentioned the possibility of coming here, I was very keen.
"Everyone knows Wigan play good football and there is a good mix of young and old.
"The gaffer here (Roberto Martinez) has said some nice things about me, and it's up to me now to back that up with some good performances."
