Manchester United winger Tahith Chong started for Werder Bremen in their 1-1 draw at Eintracht Frankfurt yesterday.
Chong was handed the start by Werder coach Florian Kohfeldt after a series of injuries hitting their attacking players.
The Holland U21 winger lasted 62 minutes before being substituted for Milot Rashica.
Kohfeldt later remarked: "Frankfurt was superior on the field, but we wanted it that way and we were dangerous in a few situations on the break. There is no question that they had one or two chances in the second half, but I would say we had our chances too.
"Overall, it was a game as we imagined and I'm satisfied with the team's performance and how they implemented the plan."
