Manchester United are ready to bid for AS Roma midfielder Kevin Strootman. The Daily Star says United could complete the £30million move at some point in the next month as they look to bring in reinforcements to the midfield.

And the report suggests that Strootman is in fact United's No.1 priority in the transfer window.

It is suggested that the 24-year-old has already shaken hands on a deal to make the move to Old Trafford, with Roma no longer having any interest in the Champions League.
