Manchester United are not pursuing a return for Zlatan Ibrahimovic in January.

The Red Devils would like to sign an attacker to give them more options in that area.

But Sky Sports reports that Ibrahimovic is not among the players they are considering.

The 38-year-old scored 29 goals for United during a one and a half year stint at the club under Jose Mourinho.

Ibrahimovic is looking for his next club after leaving LA Galaxy following two successful MLS seasons.

He scored 31 goals and got eight assists in 31 MLS games this season.
