Manchester United are no longer in the running to sign Diego Godin.
The Atletico Madrid defender is out of contract at the end of the season.
And according to Tuttomercatoweb, the 31-year-old has ruled Manchester United off his short-list due their inferior contract offer.
United have put forward an offer worth €4.8million per year, however, Inter Milan are prepared to hand Godin a two-year deal worth €6million a year.
And the Red Devils are not willing to match the Serie A giants.
Godin is expected to move to Milan in the summer.
