Manchester United are ready to compete with Chelsea for Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal.

The Sun says Vidal looks to be heading out of Bayern this summer even though he still has 18 months left to run on his existing deal.

And claims in Chile suggest the midfielder is being chased by both United and Chelsea over a possible deal at the end of the season.

Top Chilean journalist Maks Cardenas has claimed the Premier League duo have shown interest in snapping up the 30-year-old former Juventus star.

Cardenas claimed on Twitter that the Blues and United will face competition from clubs in Italy and China for his services.
