Manchester United are weighing up a move for Wolves striker Raul Jimenez.

Sky Sports says United are targeting Jimenez, who has continued on from his fine debut in English football by already netting 17 times this season and notching up nine assists.

The 28-year-old is Wolves' record signing after they splashed out £34million to make his loan move from Benfica permanent.

Despite the excellent form of Marcus Rashford this season United have still struggled to hit the back of the net at times, especially when coming up against teams that are happy to sit deep and defend.

It's reported that the Mexico international has 'been identified' as a potential target but that 'a deal would be difficult to finalise in January.'
