Manchester United are willing to let centre-back Axel Tuanzebe leave on loan this summer - if he signs a new contract.
The 23-year-old defender is the subject of interest from Newcastle United and other clubs in Europe.
Given the imminent arrival of Raphael Varane from Real Madrid, Tuanzebe wants a move to secure regular football.
Sky Sports is indicating that United are willing to sanction a season long loan, provided they can get Tuanzebe to sign an extension.
His current deal expires after this season, but United do have a one year extension they can apply to the contract.
