Manchester United fullback Ashley Young is confident the team can compete against Liverpool on Sunday.

United face another monumental game, taking on their biggest rivals at home in the Premier League.

Not only does the game have top four connotations for United, but it is their only chance to stop Liverpool winning the league. And Young is confident ahead of the clash.

"It gives us all massive belief," Young said to reporters of their record against top six sides recently.

"Obviously you will get confidence from winning games and that's exactly what we did against Chelsea. We beat Spurs away, and Arsenal away and now Chelsea away.

"We knew it would be tough, we had to be on the front foot and we knew we would have to defend but it's a fantastic result for us."
