Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic is aiming for a winning start to the season against Chelsea.

For Matic, he knows all about manager Frank Lampard from his two stints alongside him at Chelsea.

And the Serbian plans to ruin the new Blues boss' Premier League managerial bow.

Matic left Chelsea for Manchester United in 2017 and said: “I played with him (Lampard) in 2009-10 and when I signed the second time in 2014.

“He is a great guy and he was a great player. I wish him good luck, but not in the first game.

“Chelsea are a great team and it is going to be very difficult for us. We have to be ready physically and mentally and every little detail matters in a game like this."
