Manchester United veteran Juan Mata has welcomed Edinson Cavani's addition.

Cavani, formerly of PSG, could make his debut today against Chelsea.

Mata said, "He's already training with the team and you can see how professional he is.

"I spoke with Ander Herrera (PSG player, formerly of United), my very good friend, before Edinson joined, because they are close too.

"He told me that he would be a good recruit for us."
