Michael Carrick has hailed the inexperienced duo of Guillermo Varela and Timothy Fosu-Mensah for their respective contributions in the 3-2 victory over Arsenal.
Marcus Rashford was the man who grabbed all the headlines following United's win at Old Trafford on Sunday by grabbing a brace, but a couple of other youngsters who featured on the day also impressed.
Veteran midfielder Carrick has gone on to acknowledge that alongside Rashford, the defensive pair of Varela and Fosu-Mensah also deserve a lot of credit for their performance on the day, hinting that there were many positives to look back upon from the clash.
Carrick said: "Obviously Marcus is going to get the headlines but I thought Guilly was terrific at right-back and especially after getting a yellow card against somebody like (Alexis) Sanchez.
"He was my wing-man and my support just outside of me! I thought Timmy did well when he came on - to come on in a game like that at left-back which is not really his position.
"There are so many positives to take from it. I think there was a real togetherness in the squad and I think the fans responded to that. Seeing somebody like Marcus doing what he has done this week has given everybody a huge boost, so it is great to see everybody so happy."
