Man Utd upbeat on McTominay making Spurs clash

Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay is set to be fit for tomorrow night's clash with Tottenham.

The Manchester Evening News says United are hopeful McTominay will be fit for the visit of Tottenham on Wednesday but are set to be without Paul Pogba again.

McTominay has sat out the last three games against Sheffield United, Astana and Aston Villa with an ankle injury but he is expected to be fit enough to face Tottenham.

Pogba has been sidelined since September 30 with a troublesome ankle injury and is likelier to be back for the Manchester derby at City on Saturday.

The 26-year-old first sustained an ankle knock in the draw with Southampton on August 31 and was sidelined for the next three games before he started against Rochdale in the League Cup third round on September 25. Pogba lined up against Arsenal five days later and has not played since.
