Man Utd unhappy with England treatment of Greenwood

Manchester United were unhappy at the way Mason Greenwood was treated earlier in the season.

The 19-year-old has been in fantastic form of late, scoring eight goals from his last 12 matches across all competitions.

It marks a terrific turnaround in form for the Englishman, who struggled to get going in the first half of the season.

Greenwood's problems were compounded when he was sent home from England duty after breaching coronavirus rules in Iceland.

The Expresssays United were angry with how Greenwood was treated during this time.

The incident left an 'after-taste' with some club officials.

Given his recent form, there is a strong chance Greenwood will make Gareth Southgate's squad for the upcoming European Championships.
