Manchester United are moving for AS Roma defender Kostas Manolas - and leaning on Paul Pogba's influence to close the deal.
United are in the market for a new centre-half signing this summer and Greece international Manolas is high on the agenda.
Gazzetta dello Sport says United are locked in talks with Manolas' agent, Mino Raiola, about bringing him to England. Raiola also takes care of Pogba.
The defender is tied to Roma until 2022 and has an affordable buyout clause of €36m.
Manolas, however, will still need some persuading to convince him about leaving the Giallorossi.
