Borussia Monchengladbach forward Alassane Plea is interesting Manchester United.

Germany's Express reports United have now turned their interest to Plea.

The former Nice forward is “among a group of strikers to be examined" for the 2020/21 campaign.

In two seasons at the Bundesliga side, the Frenchman has 23 goals in 59 appearances, heading to Germany after an impressive season with Nice where he scored 21 goals in one season

And the 27-year-old is on United's radar as Solskjaer looks to increase his attacking options.

But they could face competition from Tottenham, who have bid £23m for Plea.
