Manchester United could lose millions prior to what is expected to be a busy transfer window.
The Red Devils are eyeing a number of players this summer, with Jack Grealish and Jadon Sancho at the top of their wishlist.
However, their transfer budget is set to take a dent thanks to star signing Bruno Fernandes.
According to A Bola (via the Express), the Portugal international is close to triggering two clauses which would see former club Sporting Lisbon earn millions.
Fernandes has made 18 appearances for United since joining in January and the club will need to pay £4.5m once he reaches 20.
Another £4.5m will also be owed if United secure Champions League football.
United will quality for next season's Champions League if they beat West Ham United and Leicester City in their final two games.
