Manchester United and Tottenham are seen as the most likely destinations for Ajax star Donny van der Beek.

The attacking midfielder is a target for several top clubs around Europe, including Inter Milan in Italy.

However, a report from CalcioMercato suggests that United and Spurs are ahead in the race to sign the 22-year-old.

Van der Beek managed 17 goals in 57 games for Ajax across all competitions last season, helping his side to a Champions League semi final slot.

Ajax are seeking a deal in the region of 50 million euros for the playmaker.
